About the pictures. I don't know if it's a mac thing, but I have come across it before when saving with Preview. Apparently some programs save an orientation without actually rotating the pixels, i.e. it saves the command to display the image with a certain orientation. So when that image goes to another program that isn't compatible, it shows the pixels as they are, unaltered, with original orientation. Anyway, basically you need to save it in a different program with the correct orientation. For me, GIMP or Photoshop Elements has worked.
We're a group of average ladies looking to push ourselves to accomplish something awesome. Some of us want to lose weight, some of us just want the challenge itself. Our first goal is complete: run/walk a half marathon!

PS try and fix the orientation and correct the images on your post! Then we can enjoy the pictures a bit more! :)
